Remember back in October when we sent a team of over 70 students to compete at the Korean Taekwondo Association of Australia (KTAA) Tournament? Despite being the first competition for many of our students, we still took home 117 GOLD, 75 SILVER and 23 BRONZE medals!
The FIRST Tournament for 2023 has been set. The 18th KTAA Invitational Tournament will be held on Sunday 5th March at Hurstville Aquatic Centre. Many of the previous events will be run again – Sparring, Point Sparring, Demonstrations, Kicking Competitions, plus more.
NEW COMPETITION ADDITION: Kicking Dragons Competitions
Grandmaster Joe has been working with the Tournament organisers to ensure there are events for the younger students. Kicking Dragon students will now have up to 4 events they can participate in:
1. Front Snap Kick Competition – how many kicks can they perform for time.
2. Double Front Snap Kick Competition – how many kicks can they perform for time.
3. Short Obstacle Course – a 2 metre obstacle course completed repetitively for time.
4. Circuit – a longer obstacle course that includes blocking, jumping, running, kicking and crawling. To be completed for time.
