Term 2 Procedures

As we open up our doors after the extended shutdown, we need to keep in mind that new rules and regulations will change our procedures and classroom management. While this is a difficult time for many, we appreciate your support and understanding. We’re working with the current regulations, as well as information from Health Officials, to ensure we continue to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all of our students at JAI Martial Arts.

Below you will find some key points that relate to our COVID19 Management Plan:

  • Training will continue to be non contact until July 1 when restrictions will be eased further.
  • Distancing will be enforced.
  • Temperature checks on arrival.
  • Hand Sanitising Stations will be set up. Students are to use them upon entering and when leaving.
  • Classes are pre booked. No casual passes during these times.
  • No hiring of equipment during this time.
  • NO TOWEL NO TRAIN will be enforced for our Adult Programs (no hand towels or face towels).
  • Class durations may be altered in the short term to allow for cleaning, and to facilitate the change over for the next class that follows.
  • Students arriving too early will be asked to wait outside.
  • Students are to leave promptly when their class has finished.
  • Where possible, students are to be changed before arriving to train.
  • Parents are to adopt a Drop and Go procedure to minimise crowding the wait area. This area is to be left clear for students, the small size does not allow for many parents or students to wait.
  • Students will not share equipment in class.
  • All equipment will be cleaned following the class.

We will monitor our Management Plan and make necessary changes if needed. We thank everyone for their continued support and patience during these times.
