We’ve teased this on Social Media and in email communications. Now we can finally reveal what Cobra JAI Week is all about!
THE BACK STORY:
Season 6 (Part 2) of Netflix’s smash hit Cobra Kai is streaming from November 15 . The series is nostalgic, cheesy, and a lot of fun. To celebrate, we’re running Cobra JAI Week from Monday November 18 – Saturday November 23.
THEME:
With many hidden messages and stories within the Cobra Kai series, one strong theme is the idea of friendship. Some students start their Martial Arts training with their friends, some make new friendship groups while training, and some have on again and off again friendships when training with rival dojo’s. While Martial Arts is an individual activity, it is definitely best practiced with other students and friends.
WHAT IS COBRA JAI WEEK:
From Monday November 18 – Saturday November 23, JAI students can invite one friend to their class FOR FREE. This will apply to all programs that we run at the centre – Pre Schoolers, Kicking Dragons, Taekwondo, Muay Thai (note: unfortunately we won’t have gloves for your friend) and Kenpo Karate.
THE HIDDEN DETAILS:
- Make sure the friend you invite can come during that week with you – only 1 friend in the class you’re attending during that week (if you train twice a week, you can bring two different friends).
- We’ll have invitations that you can give to your friend. A QR code will be on the invitation, they will need to scan it and register for the free class.
- Come along with your friend in your regular training class – your friend must fit the age group of that program – if you’re unsure let us know and we can help.
Save the date and make sure you come along with your friend during Cobra JAI Week.
