If you picked up the latest edition of the Southern Courier (dated July 31 2018), you’ll notice a very familiar face on page 55 – Mr Jesse has been nominated for the Junior Sports Star of the week.
Despite school commitments (a busy time ahead in Year 12 with his HSC exams coming up), school Vice Captain commitments, training commitments (he averages around 6 hours a week on the mats) and teaching, Mr Jesse still finds a way to manage everything. Along with teammate Jackson and Grandmaster Joe, they will head to Japan in early October to be a part of the Australian Team competing against the best in the world.
