Congratulations to everyone who participated in the first Muay Thai grading for 2016. The grading which lasted almost 3 hours for the senior levels, and over 2 hours for the beginner levels gave students an opportunity to show off their skills and techniques that they have learnt in class.
While the grading is mentally and physically challenging, it serves as an opportunity for the students – and instructors – to see the amount of growth and improvement. Students can look back at the grading they completed and have a sense of accomplishment knowing that they were able to complete the challenging task. We congratulate all students who participated in the grading.
About Muay Thai at JAI Martial Arts:
At JAI we are pleased to be following the Muay Thai system of Grandmaster Toddy – trainer to over 40 MMA and Muay Thai Champions. The Muay Thai system adopted at JAI is the only Muay Thai Program this is endorsed by the Government of Thailand and the Ministry of Education. Students who participate in our gradings are awarded certificates signed by Grandmaster Toddy, each with its own unique number that is filed with the Muay Thai International Association (MTIA) in Thailand.
Muay Thai Classes run 3 days per week under the watchful of eye of Ajarn Chris. Classes are suited to all fitness levels as we show you, and teach you, how to perform Muay Thai in a safe and motivating environment. Our Muay Thai program has even been implemented as an Elective course of study for the girls at Brigidine College in Randwick. Private lessons in Muay Thai have also become increasingly popular for those wanting to get an edge over their peers, for those wanting personal attention, and for those wanting to speed up their fitness goals.
Come and join the Muay Thai family at JAI. You won’t regret it!
