CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who is eligible to Grade this Term for their next Belt Level. We’ve had another great Term of training with all students showing progress and improvements in their Skill, Fitness and Knowledge of their Syllabus. Term 3 Gradings are set to commence from Monday 12th September. A few reminders regarding Gradings:
- Please advise if your child is participating in the Grading. Belt Promotions are optional, we will only Grade students if we have received notice from parents.
- Please ensure you arrive to your Grading on time and not during the class when the Grading has already commenced.
- Students participating in their Grading must wear FULL uniform – the White Long Sleeve top that came with the uniform.
For students who did not receive a Grading notice this Term, your Grading will be scheduled for early Term 4. A reminder that as students progress in their Belt Levels, the time between Gradings increases to account for the higher level of Skill expected. Students training in 2 classes per week will advance faster than students training in 1 class per week. For example:
2 Classes per week per Term = 20 classes
1 Class per week per Term = 10 classes
The additional classes gives that students more opportunity to practice, revise and perfect their Skill and Syllabus.
